In my previous entry, I mentioned the return of some old foes in this newest case of "we want her more" adoption horror tales. The Hodgin family gained the support of Bonnie Cleaveland, Jessica Munday and Trio Solutions and....drum roll folks.....none other than the kidnapping Capobianco herself, Melanie C. More familiar faces have started to appear. Brad Caricofe, Dev Brown, Kendall Sykes and many others known for their venomous character assassination campaign against Dusten Brown and his daughter Veronica. Even some of their less intelligent groupies have appeared here and there in this newest war against a biological family having the right to raise their child.
But the question remains.....WHY? What do these folks hope to accomplish?
Melanie Capobianco's involvement came to light via a psychologist report. Numerous psychologists submitted reports to TN courts regarding how horrible and detrimental S's removal was from her foster family. Interestingly enough, the vast majority of those who submitted these reports are from South Carolina. And none of the ones out of SC had even interviewed the child in question. But why are the Capobiancos involved again? Why are all of these folks involved?
Trio hooked onto the Hodgins and got their over-sized mouth-piece, Munday, to do the talking (as usual). The media reports so far are only reporting what Trio has been releasing. So once again, just like with Dusten and Veronica's plight, the public is only getting a one sided view of the situation.
One has to wonder. What does this case mean for them? What was the primary goal with Veronica's case? Was their seek and destroy mission on Dusten and Veronica a way to open the door so the government and white infertiles could trample on Native sovereignty? Is this newest crusade a way to give foster parents some leverage and the ability to use private adoption laws for foster children even when it goes against CPS rules? A way to re-write the rules when it comes to who they view is a fit parent? Will this mean others with tarnished pasts be targeted next?
As it stands now, I'm seeing a terrifying future if this group continues. We are dealing with dangerous individuals who will stop at nothing to take a child - any child - if someone else feels they "want them more" or "can provide better". Trio, Munday, the Capobiancos and all the others succeeded in kidnapping Veronica and now they are working to help another couple kidnap another child. Entitlement at its finest right here.
Hold your babies and children tight, peeps. It's open market on our kids.
If they continue with this movement no child will be safe. They have chosen to degrade and attack the God-given parents of children with, what seems to be, a plot to place these children with people that they alone determine deserve the child more. This is so wrong, so frightening on so many levels.
ReplyDeleteI am starting to believe the same, Rainlady. I really am. One truly has to wonder what their primary objective really is, though. Is it about ensuring a steady supply of adoptable children or is something darker in the works? I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any means, but given the connections and people involved......when this really blows up, it's going to be something huge.
DeleteMelanie C's involvement in this case is a huge conflict. By signing that letter, she is admitting that tearing Veronica away from the only family SHE knew - where she was happy, healthy, and thriving with her father and extended family was wrong. And I don't want to hear any more lies that she remembered them, because I have a background in child development myself, and I promise you, children's brains simply are not wired to retain memories prior to age 3. Since she was with her father prior to age 3, that was the family she knew. So Melanie C's signature on the letter designed to retrieve S to her foster family is suspect - either she's lying (rendering her signature useless), or she's admitting she was wrong to do what she did to Veronica. People should definitely hold onto their children a little tighter with these folks on the loose. They have made themselves the "Create-a-Family" police, and they run by a moral GPS unit that is archaic and outdated. They may be starting with single fathers who they can manipulate and deceive, and single mothers who can be coerced, but they will eventually move to families who cannot "provide" well.
ReplyDeleteI started getting suspicious when Munday, Trio, Sykes and the others got into the mix, but my spidey senses are going haywire now knowing that Capobianco is involved as well. And I agree 100% with you on that report situation. She is either lying or is admitting that she screwed Veronica up. It's fathers and extended family now, maybe some young mothers, but it won't be long before they move on to intact families....
